GCCFSA welcomes new members to our association and we hope you enjoy the hobby along with us. We are a non-profit organisation and our primary mission is to promote the welfare and safety of all cats, responsible and ethical breeding of pedigreed cats, and the showing of pedigreed cats and desexed domestic cats.
Established in 1962 and affiliated with the Australian Cat Federation, the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy of South Australia (GCCFSA) is the original controlling body and pedigreed cat registry in this state. The Council is supported by seven affiliated cat clubs, and we cater for all cat-lovers / owners / breeders of most cat breeds.
We do expect all members to abide by the Association's Constitution and Rules. If you would like to join the GCCFSA, please complete the membership form available below and forward to the Secretary. All applications are submitted to the next Council Meeting for approval.
Membership is an annual fee of $10.00 for the period 1 January-31 December. Juniors (under 16) $5.00 per year.
Governing Council meets on a monthly basis to discuss current issues affecting Clubs, breeders and the wider cat fancy and to effectively manage our organisation.
